 Rating:  - Texas ObserverThere is no better news magazine that covers the zaniness that Texas politics and government is all about. I look forward to coverage of the three ring circus that is the biennial Legislative Session but I also enjoy their book reviews, poems and op eds. Rating: - Worth your time to readThe Texas Observer is the kind of critical news paper that should be required reading by anyone who has reached teen-age and/or older. Most people read words but don't attempt to understand their meaning, but the authors of articles in the Observer write on subjects that should be near and dear to those living in Texas and words of warning to those living in other states. It's unfortunate that many articles describe the results of things perpetrated by unscrupulous persons but are eagerly used by others as a plan of action in their own state. It's too bad my state, Missouri, has no such publication. Rating:  - I gave one star more than it deserves!Is this magazine supposed to be balanced and informative? Between Molly Ivins and Jim Hightower, there are no bigger liberals in Texas. I recommend passing on this one.
